The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority (ECMA) held an all-staff meeting to review its performance for the first half of the 2018 EC fiscal year and assess progress toward its strategic priorities.

Management and staff discussed institutional results and ongoing initiatives to strengthen Ethiopia’s capital market.

Director General Hana Tehelku highlighted key achievements, including the increase in licensed capital market service providers, the registration of various securities, expanded capital market awareness programs across regional states, and the successful hosting of the second Regional Capital Market Summit, all contributing to broader market participation and stronger stakeholder engagement.

She emphasized the importance of sustaining progress and delivering the remaining targets on time.

The program also featured a capacity-building session led by the President of the Development Bank of Ethiopia and former ECMA Deputy Director General, Esayas Kassa, who provided practical insights to enhance staff performance and institutional effectiveness.

Staff engagement and recreational activities were also organized to promote teamwork, collaboration, and unity among employees.
