The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority (ECMA) is proud to announce the granting of licenses to three (3) new capital market service providers (CMSPs) after a rigorous license application review process. In addition, the ECMA has approved the licensing of ten (10) Appointed Representatives and the appointment of fifteen (15) board directors of the three newly licensed service providers.

The Director General of the ECMA, Hana Tehelku, formally presented the license to the leadership of the three newly licensed service providers during licensing event took place on Friday, 10 July 2026, at the ECMA’s Head Office; increasing the total number of licensed CMSPs from eighteen (18) to twenty-one (21), total number of Investment Banks to eight (8) and total number of Securities Investment Advisors to eleven (11).

The new licensees and their license categories are:
1. PrizeWorth Investment Bank S.C – Investment Bank
2. BluFin Capital Advisory PLC – Securities Investment Advisor
3. Lumina Capital PLC – Securities Investment Advisor

During the licensing event, the Director General of the ECMA, Hana Tehelku, extended her congratulations to the newly licensed service providers. The Director General urged the new licensees to deliver market-expected services with expertise and integrity, maintain investor inclusion approach, and remain consistently dedicated to public interest.
