The meeting, led by ECMA Director General Hana Tehelku, was attended by senior management from the Ethiopian Mediation and Arbitration Center (EMAC). The two institutions deliberated on the critical role of alternative dispute resolution methods in fostering trust and efficiency in Ethiopia’s emerging capital market.

During the discussion, ECMA expressed its commitment to working closely with the Center, leveraging its extensive experience in resolving market-related disputes. This collaboration aims to ensure the effective implementation of the Capital Market Proclamation No. 1248/2013, particularly the provisions concerning arbitration procedures and related costs.
